| PFO Closure Criteria
I've just been diagnosed with a large PFO and an ASA after having a TIA. This is frightening enough but the the thought if being on Coumadin, which I've just started, is truly terrifying.
Although I haven't seen the Cardiologist yet, I've been referred to a specialist for this kind of thing, I'm being told to qualify for closure of a PFO I need to have another TIA or Stroke while on medication. Needless to say I'm not thrilled by that thought either.
Des anyone have any insight? I see people on this board are getting closures and am hoping for more information.
