Hi I ran across your post and was wondering about your symptoms for I am having some numbness in my left side of my neck and face. It started sunday and went away after a few minutes. Yesterday It started in the afternoon and lasted the rest of the day. Today it is back and I called my neuroligst and my primary and my insurance nurse hotline. I am getting conflicting advice. My nero is too Busy" to see me today, said to go to the hospital, and the health hotline told me not to. I have a history of carotid artery disease and was checked, ultasound in December. Showed a slight blockage in my right artery. So I am sitting here wondering what to do. My face and neck feel numb feeling, but not so much to touch, and no tingling.
What are your symptoms and have you got in touch with anyone today about it?
Let me know how your doing, maybe between the two of us we can figure this out. My B/P is perfect. My doc is always telling me that if thats normal your not having a stroke. We'll see. Write back I can really relate as this is scaring me to having a stroke!
