Anyone have experience with INR?

My mother had a stroke over nine years ago and has lost use of her left arm and leg. We have been through numerous therapies, clinical trials, etc to help improve her movement.

Recently we came across a treatment offered through Institute through Neurological Research which is offering a shot which they claim almost instantly improves deficits caused by strokes. We have an appointment for a consultation this upcoming Tuesday and I was wondering if anyone has had experience or knows anything about this treatment?

The testimonials are extremely compelling.

I was just interested if anyone has had any experience with this treatment or know anything about it.

Re: Anyone have experience with INR?

My father found it on the internet. He has been researching treatments for my mom since the loss of her arm and leg. We have tried botox, kelations, bionics, PT and many other treatments.

His plan was to try stem cell (embryo or non-embryo) in another country. Until he found this tx which is close to home. As I mentioned in my first post, we will have a consultation on Tuesday and take it from there. I just hate to see them get their hopes up yet again, only to be disappointed in the end.

I had the screening which was a joke. They said I quialified. Next step is to do it. $400 to speak to a doc and then $3,900 for an injection in the neck with 80% chance so some improvement. I question the process and its validity.

Re: Anyone have experience with INR?

It sounds intriguing to me, although like Jim said, I would be a bit skeptical... but I am at the point of wanting to try radical therapies now for my double vision issues. I have a possible appt next year in the UK at a hospital that deals exclusively with eyes.

Has your mother's Hemiplegia improved at all?
Mine healed completely after a few months, but I still am extremely weak on my left side, and have decreased sensation as well. I would have been willing to try anything to regain my movement if it had not reversed itself. I remember being extremely frustrated, telling myself that I KNOW how to walk, so why can't I, as I lay on the floor after getting up out of the wheelchair to walk to the restroom.

Re: Anyone have experience with INR?

I saw something similar out of a Florida doc. He promoted it as an instant cure but it wasn't. I will try to find it again to be more helpful in researching it.

Here it is http://www.strokebreakthrough.com/ I went and qualified which cost me $5. The signel shot in th next cost $4,000 with no guarantee. I can afford it but think is is a scam.

I also have a consultation with INR this week over the phone. What are the results from anyone who has been there?

Re: Anyone have experience with INR?

Sounds a little like VUDO to me I would be very sceptical and would hold my wallet tight and hidden! Think about it....... cure most of your stroke disability with a single shot I don't think so. This is my opinion only yours could be different

Re: Anyone have experience with INR?

I am also trying to find out information from anyone who has had this done. Is it worth taking the chance in case it does help? We were also told not to do hyperbaric oxygen treatment and feel that helped.. I do not trust the people who say yes on the website as they will not put negative things on there. So I am also desperate for answers..

I have heard from one person from Oregon. She took her dad there and said they are happy and can see results. I would like to hear from more than one person. Dr. tobinik told me on the phone that he has several patients and I could sit in office and talk to them.. Ha Ha.. If we are going that far we are going for a reason.. Please anyone else keep the info coming. I thank you..

Re: Anyone have experience with INR?

I went to Google and looked up in seems they have numerous offices nation wide. I think you should form your own conclusion from reading the articles. I read the shot they offer is not FDA approved.
Check cost and success is not certain. Good luck and the best to you and your family

Allen
