my moms story
one day after her 40th birthday mom had her 1st stroke. mom went missing for 3 days, came back in horrible condition, hospital said she was fine lmao shes fine my butt i was only 18 at the time anyway she has had 5 strokes since and 3 mini strokes, shes 45 now and lives with me, this monday she was Dx with chronic kidney failure kidneys are at 36% and we cant send her to a kindney dr until shes at 30% dont know why but thats what primary said. what can i do to help her

Hello Rissa and welcome
I am so sorry to hear what your poor mom has been through. I understand your frustration in trying to get answers. You asked "what can you do for your mom." Be her advocate. Demand the best care, demand answers. Second opinions if necessary. There is a reason why she had the first stroke and now they must prevented any further strokes. What's important is what you do now. Caregivers have a special job and a difficult one. Its hard to watch our loved ones suffer and especially when we feel powerless. Be her advocate do what you know she would want. Demand the best and answers for her and your family. Best of luck please let us know how she is doing.
