Hey Guys and Girls,
Well, I can add one more thing to the list of things wrong with me.
I had a TIA last night. It lasted about an hour and no noticeable damages.
It started with my left arm tingling and going numb then my left leg and side and the left side of my face and neck soon followed.
I crunched two aspirin and drove to the hospital and got to see a doc about the time the effects were wearing off.
The gave me a Plavix 75mg and a clonidine 0.1mg and wanted to transfer me to another hospital (the hosp where I live is a little county hospital) in a larger city.
Since I did'nt have any money or insurance I decided to get a prescription for these pills and check with the VA in yet another city (even farther away) and see if they can give me some help with the med costs. I had to borrow nearly $ 200.00 to fill these two prescriptions today.
Sure is expensive to be sick..

Hi Girls and Guys,
Well, I thought I had an apt. to see a doctor yesterday. But it was just more of the paperwork and they took blood and did an EKG and an MRI. I was there about 12 hours. Then I drove home. Never did speak to a doctor. I will be "Notified" when my next apt is. I told them my meds will run out next week, the one person I told that said t just get "some doctor" to get me a refill.
Oh Well, I'm not really disappointed in the VA as I already knew that they were messed up.
