Hello, Thank you for the replies. I just got a chance to get online as I was admitted into the hospital on Memorial Day ( last Monday) due to multiple infarcts I was having. I was referred to a Neurologist that as Sparky replied concerning his daughter, did every test known to man I think and only found the original damage from my initial Stroke. They did find as they did an MRA that when I had my stroke a blood vessel ruptured in my brain. But luckily, it was only a small minor thing compared to what could have been. Anyway, I am doing very well now, I talked to my doctor concerning the fear I was having and he seemed to ease my concerns a great deal. The diagnosis after ruling out any underlying cause for my stroke, as well as problems I am having with multiple infarcts, is STRESS! I am being treated for Severe Anxiety and depression. My medications were changed before leaving the hospital, and my doctor is referring me to a Neuro-Opthamologist in 2 weeks to do a study at a major hospital where I live. I still have symptoms as I had before I was admitted into the hospital, but it helps alot more to know that there is help out there and I am very glad that my doctor knows what he is doing!
I do know that all things happen for a reason, and for some strange reason I feel like a more cautious person and I realize how short life really is, and how we are not promised tomorrow, so I value my life alot more now than I did before.But that is a long story in itself
