 Will an mra of the brain show stroke?
I had astroke 5 months ago.The catscan showed no evidence of a cortiaclly based cerebral infartion.MRI says focal 1 cm areas high in terms if signal in the left thalamus wich is also high in terms of signal on the diffusion weighted images.Therefore, my gp says I had a stroke.MRA of the brain showed that there were no abnormalities and that everything is patent and free of disease.wouldn't the infarct show up on the MRA?Thanks.Pat
