| Brainstem leisons?
I have Central Sleep Apnea which is a rare form of the sleep disorder. I have been to see many neurologists trying to find out the cause and treatment for this disease. In Central Sleep Apnea it is the brainstem that fails to tell us to breath because of leisons.
I have no clue as to why I have leisons on my brainstem. I have been told by a couple of doctors that this is also the cause of SIDS. I have no verification or literature to find out if that is in fact true.
I stop breathing over one thousand times per night, not because of an obstruction, but because of lack of direction to do so by my brainstem.
Has anyone ever heard that this is the reason for the deaths of these infants?
Thank you
