Long time

It's been 17 years last March. I still can't go to the grave site without crying.

Re: Long time

I'm sorry. I always hear that with time things will get easier, but I guess this is proof that it will always hurt, no matter how far we get from it. (((hugs)))

Re: Long time

It's always going to be hard I think. I have boys I love 19 and 15 now but I get sad when I think of the things I wanted to see my Daughter experience. Childhood, clothes, school, playing, learning, dating, prom, sports or music or whatever she'd love. I had her around just long enough to see her start smiling and then one day she was gone.

It was cold here Memorial day so just this week we went and planted a Butterfly Blue Pincushion plant on her grave.
