Help Us

I have a 2 month old Grandson that was born in May of 2008. He weighted
6lbs. At less than a week old he stopped breathing and has suffered brain
damage (almost SIDS) as the Doctors call it. We don't know the extent of the
damage until he starts to developes more, is there anyone else out there that has experienced this situation with a child that could help us, PLEASE!!!

Re: Help Us

I haven't but I did lose a child to SIDS. Honestly I have never heard of "almost SIDS". Did a specialist say that because it is quite nondescript IMHO and I'd want more answers.

Is your grandchild now on an apnea monitor? My third child who was born after we lost our Daughter was on an monitor until he was a year old for precaution.

I'm sorry to hear about your Grandson and I pray that things will go well.
