| Re: Swine Flu Information Sharing
SanDiegosf,
Hey, do you live in San Diego? I do, and what folks from other parts of the country may not understand, is that our city is one of the largest points of entry between the United States and Mexico. We have 10's of thousands of people passing between here and Mexico everyday. Many people commute across the border to work.
Our state and Texas have the highest numbers of confirmed cases of swine flu than any other state. I don't see anyone panicking, but instead, keeping up with the latest information, being proactive, and practicing prevention is important. If you have just gotten over strep throat, your immune system is down, and I would avoid crowded places, keep using hand sanitizer, and take it easy.
I also appreiciate the information that is available about this potential pandemic. I wish you well.
