Okay I am really interested in this guy and really have an attraction towards him. The only thing is that he smokes and I can't stand people who smoke. I am afraid that I may soon be considered not his type and he will get mad when I don't want to hang out with his smoking friends. I don't know what to do.
Everybody has pet peeves that they just don't want to deal with, so if smoking is yours then you should definitely look for someone else. If you date him, it'll eventually become an issue, so why even put yourself through it? Just my 2 cents..
I am in a similar situation. I REALLY like this guy, he has a great personality and everything.. but he drinks and does drugs. But I am willing to give it a try because I like him that much. Hopefully I can help him through it and get him to stop? But I would say just give the guy a chance.. and if you do end up getting together, let him know your feelings about it and let him know you would feel better if it wasn't done around you.

Depends about what kind of smoking your talking about. Sadly people aren't taught the real affects of certain plants. I'm not a cancer stick but a different one, and if the chick liked me I wouldn't really care because it's my business. Maybe if I liked her it would be a different story. Don't get your hopes up cause guys don't really change on that kinda thing. Sorry if its offending at all but i've seen it happen. The girl I knew was put down in dissary. Drinking is a no no though. I wouldn't date any girl that drinks just because it's an awful habit and doesn't show how smart you are! Can I ask why your against it though?
