Unhappy I can't wear earrings

I'm (deleted) and I've had my ears pierced since I was 4. I've always been really sensitive to earrings, but it has never been this bad. I've tried wearing titanium, sliver, and even gold aerrings but the results are always the same...My ear gets swollen and infected. I always clean the earrings thoroughly before I put them in. I haven't worn them in about 2 years now, and the holes are starting to close up. I really want to get them pierced again, but I'm afraid I won't find any earrings that I won't have this reaction to.

You can try going to a tattoo piercing shop and talk to them about what might work for you. It might wind up costing your more for earrings but they do have ones that are easier on sensitive people.
I can only wear real gold or the stuff I get from tattoo shops. I use to could wear cheap stuff but as I have gotten older things have changed.

Smile

hi

My mommy had a similiar problem when she got her ears pierced for the third time. Have you tried nickel free earrings? that's the only ones my mommy can wear.

Yeah trying talking to a piercist. They should know the best type for you. There must be a substance your skin is sensitive too in the earrings you have tried.
