Post feeling bad cant exercise back is bad

Hi I am still in high school and due to weightlifting and work I messed up a disk in my lower back. I am used to being somewhat active, but i havnt been able to do much. I havnt weighlifted for 4 months, and had to quit work 2 months ago. I just recently started physical therapy. I cant wait till my disk backs off the nerve in my leg. Anyways i met this girl that is more than i could have ever asked for, she is really active with dance and such. I just feel like i am one boring kid and that i cant do anything. That plus the other mental stress my back puts on me is breaking me down piece by piece. Need any kind of help thanks alot!!!

First of all dont think you are boring. Have you tried explaining to this girl how you feel about her and your situation. Just tell her what happend with your back and that you are going to get it fixed and such. In the meantime just do little romantic things to make up for being "boring". If she cant see past that, then it wasnt meant to be. Good luck!

Don't feel bad at all. Take me for an example, i'm one of those people who does everything-netball, drama, theatre dancing, softball, swimming, everything. Then last year I got really sick which meant I had to drop pretty much everything but drama. My bf does not think i'm boring though at all. He loves me for who I am, not what I do.

If this girl, is any kind of nice person, she'll understand and care.

Try doing other things if your getting bored though-like learn a language, or take a class in something non physical. but only do it for you, not anybody else.
