 Teen Influences and whatnot
I replied to a post a minute ago and it got me thinking...
Why is it always," you kids don't know what you like." or "You have no idea what the real world is like"
Most adults never take the time of day to listen to us teens who have seen a lot more than you think we have! We know a lot more than you think we do!
Take for instance my friends mother told us we dont know the half of it and this world is crazy and we think we know it all but we don't! During that whole conversation we NEVER ONCE said we thought we knew it all. I mean ofcourse we are teens and we are sure hardheaded from time to time but we still know our boundaries. There are kids out there runnin around out there doing tons more than we do and we end up gettin the <deleted> end of it.
I just want to know WHY the adults will not listen to us when we try to tell them that the world isnt the same as it was when they were teens,and we know a lot more than they give us credit for and we know our boundaries and whatnot!?!?!?
Just listen to us once in a while and you'd be suprised to hear what we have to say!
