Does it hurt to get your belly button peirced?

Mine didnt really hurt at all- it kind of felt good because I really wanted it peirced and I love the adrenaline. It hurts more to get your cartilidge of the upper ear peirced.

I really want my peirced, and I can't remember what andreniline means, but I like to go fast and I like to get mad so I can listen to rock music...does that count?

I haven't had it done, but it is supposed to hurt a bit, nothing major though I would think.

I think it depends on the person and how they react to pain..i have a kinda high tolerance for it so it didn't really hurt it just kinda stung a little bit...my tongue hurt more.
what they do is(between changing gloves and stuff)
1.they open all the equip.
2.wash your belly..and sterilizes it
3.mark where they are going to pierce it
4.apply the clamp(which hurts the most out of all of it)
5.tel you to take a deep breath and use a hollow needle and press it through as u let out your breath.
6.insert the barbell or ring
7.tell you how to care fo it.
And thats it your done!!

it does bleed a little bit after you get it done and sometimes when you clean it but nothing to much.

I got a banana bell thing (it's like a curved barbell) ... people said u HAFTA get a ring... but that's not really true... plenty of friends of mine got the banana too and were totally fine! ...oh and no it doesn't hurt! mine didn't even bleed or anything... funny story and lesson...my best friend's fiance is a tatoo artist piercer person... and so i went to him to get it done. he did all the sterilizing stuff etc and was like ok ya ready? and i got all tense and was squeezing my friend's hand. It felt like he just touched the tip of the needle on my skin and i was like just DO IT! and he was like uh ash, it's already done! so no it doesn't hurt! what DOES hurt is infection! DO WHAT THEY SAY!!! i didn't clean it right at first and omg i paid! so yeah if u clean it u'll be fine!

Mine hurt, and for the rest of the day I was walking around like a pregnant woman. It's just really sore, once it heals though, it's not so bad.

Okay, imagine someone getting pliers and chopping off your little toe. That's what it feels like. I couldn't bend over for two days and it bled every time it moved.
