I nair mine...I wish I wouldnt have though cause when it grows back sometimes it looks bad sometimes it doesnt...its kinda like a chick shaving her non-visible mustache...it will show up the next time it grows in more than likely...a lot of chicks I know shave/nair/wax etc... the hair on their belly...some regret it some don't so I wouldnt say its that weird...

It's normal. Many girls do it, same with some guys. If you have to do it, why not wax or use a depliitary cream instead, that way you won't get re-growth as quick.

What's normal? I think most girls have bits of their bodies they're not fond of, I hate all the hair I have!!!! I used to have a fine line of hair ruunig from my belly button down to the pubic hair and hated it. However, the other day I decided to take the plunge and shaved it off. All because people don't talk about shaving different parts of their bodies, it doesn't mean to say that they don't do it- most are just embarrassed to talk about it. If shaving your belly hair makes you more confident then shave away.

LOL.... mistyrose, I call it the "happy trail." And I have always shaved or waxed mine. I never had much hair there, but it was enough to make me self concious. But you should see it since I've been pregnant. It's only about 7 or 8 hairs, but they've turned so dark and wild. It's actually kind of funny. I'm just hoping it will go back to normal after the baby.

I just go to a tanning bed... tan all, hair disappears, for the most part. Everyone has hair in places they don't like... I wouldn't shave it tho, unless it was really gross and noticable. It could grow back before you get a change to shave, would you rather have stubbly things or soft hair that everyone has? I dunno... its up to the individual, it doens't really matter. But, it is common to have hair below ur belly button, or on ur lower back, just don't sweat it, ur not alone

That is fine that you shave it. It's a myth that the hair grows back darker and coareser(sp?) when you shave it. What happens is that you are cutting the hair diagnaly so it seems like its different. If you don't want it like that you can always try waxing. It hurts the first time but after that you pretty much get used to it. Hope that helped.

You never know, hair is a good thing sometimes..It's not too often that hair is everywhere and noticable..I apreciate it..just not the hair on my face and my legs down ..but what can we do?? that's just the way it goes.. http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/dizzy.gif

I bleach it. this may sound weird, but its stays very light and blonde for weeks and I dont worry about it. The hairs are kinda long, but so what? You can barely see them when theyre bleached.

We call belly hair a "happy trail" I used to get kinda teased about it, but not anymore. I still have it though... i just live with it.

Ohhh yes...the happy trail! Yeah I shave mine too, but only if I'm gonna be wearing a bikini. Everyone has one though, it just depends on the hair color.
