Unhappy scared of going to dances
My family moved here from europe about a year ago, and all the styles of dancing I know are well, not the kind I think you would find at a high school dance here like homecoming. Im scared to go, because Im afraid I wont know how. Pls help

Usually at the dances, most of the guys wont even dance because they are scared. But, if your group of friends do, or heck if you just want to dance yourself, try hanging back for a bit and watching how the others do it and just copy them...or turn on some mtv lol. Good luck, don't be nervous, you'll have fun.

In 7th grade when I moved to the states from Europe, I felt so out of place because I pretty much went alone and the dancing is completely different. Don't worry, just go with a group of friends... they'll make you much more relaxed, and in all honesty, no one cares how you dance! It's the truth! Some guys at my school dance so badly (I'm a senior in high school), but they're considered cool because they started something new. Just go out there and have fun, you can't go wrong!
