Post Help with discipline for working out

I've wanted to start doing some strength training to get more toned, but I always stop after about a week. Any tips on what you did to help you stick to a routine?

definatly sombody to work out with, I work out with my two older brothers so i've always got the drive cause we all go up together wether i like it or not, theyll drag me up. so, basically find a friend and every other day have a set time that you'll work out, and just make it your #1 priority..dont make plans or do things if it will interupt your weight training, after a month give it leway, i mean some nights i work out at 3-4am in the morning, but some nights i work out at 7pm, i still get the same effect but you should always be consistant at first, just to get used to it


never forget, you build muscle when not working out, so dont work out the same muscle every day!

Yep... someone to take with you is the best thing. The second best thing is getting a girl. I had a girl friend who would honestly tell me if i was looking better with my shirt off, which really helped me. I don't know if you can find someone like that, but it helps.

I remember reading somewhere that it takes about 21 days to make it a habit. My motivation to keep doing are a couple things. One, there are certain people who I haven't seen in a while, I'll be seeing them this weekend, I wanna look good.. . Also, I want to be able to wear things I never could, I wanna be fit! I do it all alone. Motivation keeps me going.
