I just started shaving my arms. I dunno, I've only done it about 5 times but it does feel/look kind of weird. I guess you just have to get used to it. Anyway, maybe you could try shaving them and if you find you don't like it let them grow back? In my experience, they won't grow back dark/thick with just one time, but I could be wrong.

I wouldn't recommend shaving arm hair to men or women.
If it really bothers you, then find a way that works for you(whether it be waxing etc).
I jsut wouldn't recommend shaving that area. *shrug*
But hey, whatever floats your boat.
its alright for girls to shave there arms but alot dont, so it doenst matter, its a part of growing up, but if your a guy thats thinking about it, dont do it, one thing with hairy arms or legs means youve mattured and look older and another thing is if people make fun of you for having hairy arms or whatever just laugh and say at least im growing up
I shave my arms and I dont recommend it..I mean its better than having hairy arms, But i wished I would of tried bleaching or waxing, because the hair does come back THICKER...
Have you tried waxing them? They grow back thinner b/c you're pulling out the root and it's as if baby hair is growing back. Plus it lasts a lot longer than shaving. Sometimes, if you wax enough, it will stop growing, but I think it depends on your genetics.
..i shaved my arms, and its really prickly, but i dont really care about that. school is starting in a couple days and i want it to grow back to see if i like it. i just shaved them like..5 days ago. but the problem is that my friends know i had hairy arms before, and if they say something. . what should i say? because they will notice. i need to know what to say..please and thanks. (because i dont have a problem with shaving them all the time..so far i only did it once) --but shaving arms is easier then legs i think. .
BleedingLocus, unfortunately it's not just a myth.
My friend Keri thought she had really hairy arms so she started shaving them. Honestly, they weren't that bad in the first place, and who honestly notices that stuff?! Now her arms just gross people out because it always grows back prickly and sometimes she gets ingrown hairs and uh, it's just a mess. I can't exactly say my arms are beautifully hairless, but at this point I refrain from caring. Shaving your arms can just be more than it's worth. I would highly recommend bleaching them first.
i have no idea if this works or not...maybe it was just my imagination. . . lol, but it makes your arms smooth, and legs too: but you take sugar, and you use it as a scrub and you scrub your arms with it, and it makes your arms softer, which i think makes your prickly just shaved arms a little better. . .i have no idea...i thought it did..but i just looked at them now..and it seems black..but soft

it's true that the hair does not actually grow back "thicker" but it DOES grow back stubbly and "sharp" like the hair on legs grows back after shaving - it does not grow back in the same appearance as it did before.
i recommend waxing or a cream like Nair to remove arm hair. i have a friend who shaved her arms and it grew back standing straight up and was very rough and then she had to keep on shaving.. what a pain in the ***!
I have some questions about shaving yer arms. I have pretty hairy arms too, but ya'll say this stuff bout bleaching yer hair, but in the summer, my arm hairs get really really blonde and they're just thicker looking... so what should I do? cuz i just want them to be shorter cuz i dont care bout the color (my color aint bad) so what to do?
