Valentines Day?
Oi... guys are so hard to buy for, lol. Especially when you're BROKE!

I moved in with my boyfriend 2 months ago, and I give him $150 rent (He only pays the bills there) and pay the utilities bill which is like $140.00 or so. However I work at a resturaunt, make 6.00 an hour, and get like 17 hours a week. :S There are absoutely no jobs in the crap town so I'm just sticking it out here...

Here's the problem... for Christmas my boyfriend got my a absolutely lovely gold bellybutton ring with my birthstone in it costing 100.00 or so. I make $80.00 a week. :S

I have about, or can get, $15.00 by Valentines day. I had some others saved but he needed to borrow it for gas and I feel completely worthless when I can't lend him $10.00 when he helps me pay my own bills.


Any ideas for a cheap valentines day gift for a guy?

Don't go for a gift. Make the evening enjoyable for him. Bake him his favorite dinner. Clean the house. You don't have to go all out on an expensive gift to make it memorable and special. Just make it from the heart. Good luck

I agree with amuse... make him his favorite dinner, clean the house all up, make him a valentine.... you could make a book of coupons for him.... ex: one free back rub, one free night of dishes, etc.

Yah girl, put forth the effort and thats all you need, though I'm spending alot on my girl for v-day I don't expect to get anything in return (as in material goods/presents), she's flat broke, even owes me money. Just her being with me for valentines day is enough, though any thoughtful gesture or even hand-made gift would totally impress me, no monetary stuff needed. Really good food is also a pleaser if you can cook!!

for my (kind of) bf.. i burned a the song "valentine" by martina Mcbride on a CD for him. it's the sweetest song ever and it's perfect for valentine's day
