Conversely, someone who is gorgeous but has the personality of a sponge suddenly does not look so attractive. You need to like the inside AND the outside. Those who say looks don't matter I find hard to understand. Physical attraction is what draws you to someone before you know what they are like as a person. Physicality is also an important part of a loving relationship in my opinion.
I concur.

And as for you Will, you are starting to sound like the girl.

Re: What do you really want?

I'm most attracted to people who can stimulate me mentally or who have the same interests as me...I do become literally physically attracted to them.

That being said, if we're talking pin-ups, I like my men tall, lean, and muscular. I love deep, warm, brown eyes, dark brown hair, and a little bit of stubble on the face.

As for, we are men I do agree with you. I hate most men also. They do ruin things when girls that we like get into a relationship with.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but did not the original poster specifically ask for physical preferences? If she had asked for personality and character preferences, I would've listed those as well.

From the original post: "What does he/she look like?"

Thank you. Try again.

Re: What do you really want?

As an older woman I wanted to throw in my two pennies. In my teens my priorities were these and possibly in this order.

1. How good looking is he....he is acceptable to be seen with?
2. How much money does he have to take me out on a weekend with?
3. What car will he drive me there with?
4. Will he be able to spoil me for the rest of my life?
5. Do I like him?

I was so basic and so bloody superficial.

Today its more like:-

1. He may look good but hell he annoys the crap outta me.
2. Don't try and buy me buster, I have my own money these days.
3. I have my own car but sure you can drive it if I'm too drunk to get us home!
4. Can I tolerate this person in my house for more than a month?
5. Overall looks fade with age, but a good personality generally stays for life.

So whilst a pretty pair of brown eyes may be able to sway me, if theres an a$$hole behind them, it's meaningless to me.

You'll see in about 20 years time what I mean.

BUT...... If I HAD to choose....here's the kinda dudes I'd go gaga over.

1. Simon Cowell (hes so sarcastic...I love that in men plus he's sexay!)
2. Usher
3. Justin Timberlake
4. R Kelly (because he looks SO bad )
5. Brad Pitt (no explanation needed)

For me

1. My girl friend
2. Britney Spears
3. Britney Spears
4. Britney Spears
5. Britney Spears

Re: What do you really want?

I really love dark hair and tall. My fiance is gorgeous but he doesn't have dark hair. You can't always get it all. That's where it comes down to personality. Do you really want the dark hair that bad, that you would settle for a creep? Looks do matter a lot, but not in the grand scheme of things.

Yeah that may have been awhile back but heh anyhoo...I hate girls. I feel really self-concious around other girl which is why I only have like three girl friends. I could seriously take me and my best friend and forget about any other women on the planet. I don't know why I am so intimidated but I am lol. Stick me in a room full of guys any day!!

Anyways...I like guys about 6'0 with blond spiky hair and blue or green eyes. I love it when their skin is tan and I want a six pack with defined muscles everywhere else, but not like gross vein-poppingness lol. And I want a nice, white smile. Either that or dark hair, dark eyes...yeah
