If you have any pain, swelling, redness, irritation, or a fever, you could have an infection. Depending on the type of metal you have and how your body tolerates it, there is also the possibility that your body could be rejecting the ring. Everyone is different in how they tolerate foreign bodies inside them. Your body may not like this one. If you think you have an infection, it would be good to see a doctor. If you think it is rejecting, you may want to see the person who did the piercing (as long as they are trained to do this type of work).
