 No Malignancy - Yahooooooo
I got the final pathology results and THEY ARE NEGATIVE for malignancy...I am soooooooo relieved. I feel like such a weight has been lifted off of my shoulders. There were some abnormalities with the samples (ie...focal atypia, scarring, cystic degeneration & stand out in low light) but no malignancy!!!!! Yippee...This just confirms to me that I made the right decision to take the thyroid out because this may have turned into something eventually. Also, the nodule was bigger tham originally thought (3 x 1.5 cm) so that is why I was having so much discomfort.
