Post After the Radioactive Iodine...

Hi.. I did the Iodine 2 months ago.. I know every one is Diff but when would I start to feel the Hypo symptoms? I stated birth control pills about the same time so I do feel some water weight.
I went to see my Endo 3 weeks ago and he said my levels are still high. And I am still Hyper and Getting mad at everyone..
And I'm always wanting to eat.
Anyway thanks for reading.

It took me 3 months to get to normal and then 2 months after that to go hyper. Good luck.

Sorry, I meant hypo. I know what you mean. I had the RAI in July 2002 and started meds in December. Be prepared to feel bad for a while. I still don't feel like my old self. But I think I finally got my correct dose at .100 after overshooting it twice and going hyper again. What a roller coaster ride. Good luck.

I started Atkins few days ago and my I started to lose all the puffyness so I feel alot better. I lost about 3 lbs.
I just want to start my meds so I can plan to have kids again. Endo said in 6 months so that's not too bad.
But so far I dont feel as bad as what I felt b4 the RAI cuz I was a Crazy woaman! I'm not as bad now..lol
