Unhappy ear, neck, eye pain and swollen thyroid

Hi,

Do any of the following symptoms sound familiar to anyone? Swollen thyroid (right lobe), headaches, eye pain and double, blurry vision, vertigo, ear pain, palpatations, sweating, joint pain, bone pain, swollen calves and feet, skin flushing, low body temp (97.1), warm skin, pressure in neck/head area....I have been sick with these things for a year. Finally they are testing my thyroid. I'm scared, any suggestions or words of advice?

I too had a lot of those symptoms before I was diagnosed. Hang in there and wait for your results. Not knowing is what is scary. Let us know what you find out.

I too experience everything you talked about some years ago. I also lost a lot of weigh (without dieting) and had a very fast heatbeat. I was a busy business woman and I did not care about consulting a doctor but after 2 years I had to.

I was diagnosed with Basedow syndrom.

I refuse the surgery and went for medication. It work wells. After 2 years of medication, I was cured.

Hi,after 26 years I am still learning.I now know more than the doctors seem to know. I guess Hypo/hyper-T is only understood by those with it! This site is a great way to help yourself while helping others! What a loving way to share!
