I need some ideas as to what may be wrong.I am 27 I have had my thyroid checked doc.said it was normal # but said i may need low dose of synthroid anyway.I was on it about 2 months when doc. up and moved on me.here is my symptoms.Over wieght,(have not always been but have been for a while)hair loss,mood swings,(lots of highs and lows)ridges in my finger nails,no menstual cycle(months and months go bye with out one)I maybe have one every 5-6 months.Recently I had severe pain in my lower right side,I couldnt get up or sit down without nearly crying.If I was not moving a lot it was ok that lasted about 3 days and the poof it was gone.If you are wondering why i havent went back to a doc. I have no insurance but getting to the point where I may have no choice.T.Y. for listening!

Mistake pain was in lower left side,sorry

I have had that pain in my lower left side and when I get it, it is usually spasms in my intestines from my colitis that I have. you may want to have a doctor check you for that, also I would ask the doctor that did you tests for your thyroid what the results were and their ranges because I found that what might be normal for some is not normal for others. mine were normal for three years before they finally showed abnormal. you could post them on here and you may be able to get some advice from others on them, that is what I did and it helped me tremendously.
