Question Medical Disability - Thyroid?

A few weeks ago I became extremely fatigued and couldn’t work. The doctor said he thought it might be my thyroid and sent me to an endocrinologist. The blood test confirmed hypoT. In order to protect my job I have to file medical disability papers which the doctor must file out. (This is not for SS only my employers requirement). I gave the papers to the endocrinologist office people and they informed me that they do not sign medical disability papers for hypothyroidism. Has anyone else run into this problem? If so, what did you do about it?
(I will be getting a new endo and informing my MD of the situation).
Keep moving, it makes it harder for the undertaker to catch you. Don
