Jaffe-Mellor Technique for Hashimotos'
After reading these posts for some time I am impressed with the knowledge and expertise that some of you have. I am learning! Special thanks to dea4 and Sky_Eagle1 for answering my previous post. Sky_Eagle1 you were correct, my endo’s diagnosis is Hashimoto's disease. I just got the diagnosis today, but I don’t see her until the 22nd, so I am left hanging.
My understanding is that ideally my TSH should be about 1.0 and my free T4 should be in the upper portion of the free T4 range. Is that correct?
Would the T3 (Cytomel) therapy be appropriate for Hashimoto’s?
I told my chiropractor about the Hashimoto's diagnosis and he says that he may be able to help through a process called the Jaffe-Mellor Technique. He said that they have had good success with Hashimoto's using the Jaffe-Mellor Technique although not all patients respond. I have no reason to doubt my chiropractor and after I see the endo I will start the Jaffe-Mellor therapy.
I would appreciate any comments. Thanks
