 MD doubts Thyroid
I met with my MD today who said my thyroid is not the problem and thinks the fatigue and lightheadedness, (brain fog), is due to my heart disease or the medication I take for it. He did change my heart meds to Toprol 25mg.
He also said the antibodies is normal. I am currently taking 88mcg Synthroid. My latest labs:
9/5/03
Free T4 = 1.01 (.071 - 1.85)
TSH = 1.93 (.032 - 5.00)
Thyroid Perox Ab = 26.4 H Range <2.0
Anti= TPO Antibodies
I see my endo next Monday and I hope she can do something to relieve my symptoms. The last visit she mentioned trying the Cytomel therapy.
