Question Synthroid in the PM?

Has anyone had a success by taking Synthroid at night rather that in the morning? I take Synthroid in the morning and seem to go around in a fog all day, by the end of the night it starts to lift. I thought if I take it an night that might help. If so, how did you transfer the dosage to PM?

Not sure how to transfer dosage to PM but some people do better taking meds at night rather than in the morning so you may want to try it and see what happens.

Donsabi, I've been taking synthroid at 11 pm every night because that's when I usually take my vitamins..just before bed and 2 or 3 hours after dinner. It seems to work for me, although sometimes I get extremely tired at the end of the day. But I think it's because my body is still adjusting with the dose.

I have always been told to take Synthroid alone with water at the same time in the morning! Not to eat anything for at least 1 hour( some say 4 hours). Take other vits and meds at night. Soy,minerals, as well as many other meds counter the Sythriod. http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/heart.gif

I have the same problem...I'm out of it most of the day, and come nighttime I'm alert and feeling half-ways like a normal person. I heard it had something to do with our cortisol levels, which fluctuate all day, but I think I will try taking the Synthroid at night instead of when I first wake up.
