Question Blood test- what is LYMPH?

Hi, I got some blood tests done, my TSH was low. (.09)

I also got a few other blood tests done.

one of them was "lymph"... does anyone know what that is testing for and what are normal ranges for that?

Thanks for any help!

April

I've never seen this question asked on this board and now is the second time I'm responding to the same ? from two different people today.
Here's what I came up with for the first person I responded to:

Lymph is a clear-to-white fluid made of:

chyle (fluid from the intestines after digestion that contains proteins and fats)
some red blood cells
many white blood cells, especially lymphocytes (lymphocytes are the cells that attack bacteria in the blood

I don't know what the ranges are or what it's being tested for (maybe checking for low lymphocytes or how much protein and fat in the chyle?).
Sorry I didn't have more info for you. But if you google around, you may find an answer. Good luck!
