I found someone that is sympathetic and takes her time to explain things.
She thinks that my pain might be Lipitor related plus the hypo. Checking for lupus, tsh,freet4, urinalysis.
Hopefully it is just from my thryroid. She thinks I am depressed so she gave me some Lexapro. Then I go back in a week then hopefully things will work out. She also told me to stop taking the lipitor for a month to see how I feel.
Lady50 ...I'm so glad you were listened to and that you're pleased with your new doctor! And yes, Lipitor can have unpleasant side effects for some people. I hope you get the answers and treatment you need very soon!
I have a question for you...what does FNP stand for? I feel silly asking but I can't figure it out!

Hey you know what I don't know what FNP stands for. I know that she is a nurse practioner. Don't know what the F stands for.
It's sounds like you're describing my FNP (Family Nurse Practitioner)! I love her! I haven't seen a general physician in years. I see my Endo a couple times a year, but for everything else I see the FNP.

Yes I sure do love my FNP,too. She just acts like she cares. My physician seems like he is always in wonderland.haha!
The problem is that my FNP works under my physican. I will always ask for her
first.
