test results-do i raise the dose of lev.

i just got my new test results
tsh- 5.13
t3 uptake 27.2 range 27.8-40.7
t4 free 2.67 range 1.53- 3.85
my question is i have been taking levoxly 125m for the last 6 months and have been stable
but a month ago my tsh was 4.7 and that what it was 3 months ago
but now it went up a bit do you think i should go up one dose to 135m on the levoxly or remain at 125m
i hate going up on the dose i usually have a herd time getting used to the new dose

Re: test results-do i raise the dose of lev.

You are still below the mid point with your FT4.

When you say you are stable does that mean you feel well? If you feel fine and have no thyroid related symptoms then stay as you are, but if you still have symptoms then you need a dose increase.

You may need to try a different brand of meds if you have a problem with this one.

Keep us posted.
