Yes, I do! I've found that I'm able to control my whiteheads with topical treatments, but my cysts definitely seem to be hormone related. When my TSH is in the normal range, my cysts seem to go away. When I become more hypo, they come back.
I regret to say that mine has not improved much with thyroid treatment, which leads me to believe it's caused by something else. Maybe it's hormonal, but apparently not thyroid hormonal.
I just began taking med for adrenal support, and am hoping that might do the trick. Time will tell.
I had acne as a teenager and then last October I started on Levothyroxine and now my skin seems oilier and hair as well. I have been getting so many pimples on my chin. I don't know if it has to do with the meds or what but it is annoying. I am 41 and I thought I was done with this acne stuff!!!
I love Rainbows....they are God's promise to us. I love the Dawn....a fresh start every morning. Hence the name Rainbowdawn....God bless you all!
I do. I always had clear skin up until I started to feel "bad". Not sure if its the thyroid. I found out I had polycystic ovaries, which can cause acne. Although, i can't say I really have terrible acne, just more than ever before. I get those awful deep ones that feel huge under your skin and never really amount to much.
I find out my test results today (for t3 and t4)...
