Hair Changes?

My hair has been falling out but the weird thing that I never mentioned to my doctor because I thought he would think I was Crazy.

I use to have really straigt hair & now it is really curly.

Is this weird? Has anything like this happened to any of you?

Re: Hair Changes?

One of the definite signs that my thyroid is off is all of my hair in the bottom of the shower. Without fail. Haven't heard about the curling hair thing. I wish that would happen to me - it would save me 15 minutes every morning!

Take care,

Re: Hair Changes?

When I was diagnosed with Graves' disease, I had a lot of hair fall out -- it all grew back super curly and for five years I enjoyed long, spiral curls. People thought that I paid big $$ for a perm and I got so many compliments. Well, now that I've gone hypo on my own, my hair has been straightening out again. It's still wavy, but all the ringlets are gone.
You're not alone though, it definitely was one of my side effects - the only really pleasant one.
