The first thing you need to do is get a copy of the actual lab reports of your initial thyroid tests when you were diagnosed and also a copy of the latest labs. Get the actual lab report...it will have the name of the tests you had, the normal ranges for that specific test and the result of your blood test.
October is a heck of a long time to wait after being dx'd in May!! Thank goodness you at least have beta blockers!
If I were you, I would do some research and find symptom lists of both HYPER and HYPO thyroidism. Many of the symptoms cross over and will be on both lists....like hair loss, anxiety, etc. Check off the symptoms that you are currently feeling and see where you stand based on the symptoms list.
Sometimes with thyroid disease we can swing hyper, then hypo....do a search for Hashitoxicosis and see what you can come up with...that might explain what is happening to you.
