going away for a few days :)

Just to let everyone know I'll be away from wednesday afternoon till Monday/Tuesday ...
Going to a rock festival ( booked a hotel , no tent this year ) so if i feel a little rough I can go relax somewhere nice and comfortable
( I'm a little nervous I'll be ok but am feeling ok and gonna try my best to be happy and enjoy it )

Re: going away for a few days :)

Oh Sara that is such great news for us to hear you are headed out. It has been a rather rough several months for you, and rock festivals will cure that for sure. Ritzy-ing it up in a hotel for you JUST THIS ONCE mind you will be cool. and yes you are right, but I am thinking if you just keep in mind that you are having fun, and something that you enjoy you will be fine.

What bands are playing? Hmmmm I would like to see Cold Play one day, have seen the stones, and beatles etc when I was a young teenybopper! Shows me age huh?

Anyhow, do not forget to take your meds, and keep yourself on track.

Re: going away for a few days :)

Have a great time! Who's playing? Ozzie was here a few days ago with the whole Ozfest onterage (how do you spell that???). I missed it though. Funny how these bands seem to bridge the generation gap. Last year, I went to a local rock festival called Loop Fest. I met a grandmother who was there to see Sammy Hagar with her granddaughter. There were quite a few older folks there (no offense to anyone).
Have a great time!

Re: going away for a few days :)

Even I have heard of some of those bands through my DD offspring, and white stripes....

Even though we are saddled with this TD (among other stuff too for some of us) no reason why you cannot ROCK ON Sara!!1
