bonbe faces cancer surgery for a "severe agressive melanoma" and she wonders how her thyroid will hold up ... i think she need a bump-up the-sooner-the-better, for the stress, anxiety, anesthesia, poss. chemo and radiation ...

I am faced yet again with surgery this time a rush order (lack of better term) in just 8 days then a major long term? with chemo or radiation, or both or whatever...and I think I will prob have to have a up in my meds what say you great wise people here. Does cancer surgery, and post oncology stuff (what ever) does it affect the synthroid dose?

i don't know how it works with chemo, but common sense (the only education i have) makes me think she needs an increase ...
