Hi,
I know i asked this months ago, but i thought i,d ask again. i dont remember what you told me...what else is new.
I'm having a REALLY hard time finding a doc who is of the mind that your Free T4 need to be in the upper part of the range for you to feel good. I need something concrete to show the DO im seeing next week (sept 7).
When i tell my family doc, she looks at me like i have 2 heads. She insists that the TSH is the ONLY basis for determining that your thyroid is in balance. Unfortunately the doctor shortage in this city makes it impossible the ditch her....id be left with nothing.....
Thankfully i can go across the border to the US to see a DO who im hoping and praying will be able to help and i want to be armed and ready when i see him.
Cossette,
I quickly looked for the answer I gave someone about where to look for this information, but I just can't find it.
Here's the advice I just gave Reni in a recent post:
"For your search, look up the writings of Drs. Richard Shames, John Dommisse, David Derry, Stephen Langer, Joseph Mercola, John Lowe, and Anthony Toft. Most, if not all, of them recommend the FTs be in the high end of the range to relieve symptoms."
Even if you use the search feature on the Board, you should find some evidence.
Sorry I can't help more; I am really achy today and finding it hard to sit here for long.
