Hi! I'm waiting for my blood test to come back, but I wondered if any of you have had a nodule and what it feels like. I feel like I have something stuck in my esophagus. My othere symptoms have been hair falling out, depression, panic attacks, bad memory, always cold. Kind of scary to think that there might be something wrong with me. I Have Been Wondering The Same Thing. I Just Had Thyroid Scans Thurs And Fri, My Dr Said My Numbers Were Off (hyper). I Have Bad Acid Reflux, Depression, Panic Attacks, Anxiety. I Will Know My Results This Week. Im Hoping If I Have To Take Thyroid Medicine, That This Will Help My Symptoms. Im So Tired Of Feeling This Way!
The feeling that something is stuck in the throat can happen even without a nodule. When I have had attacks of thyroiditis, it feels as if there is a golf ball stuck low in my throat, just below the V-shaped notch above the breastbone.
If you have a nodule that is large enough and positioned in the right place, you might feel it "bumping into" other structures in your throat.
