Question Hearing Loss/Memory Loss
I'm sorry if this question has been addressed previously, but I have not located it in the boards.

I am newly diagnosed hypo and understand that my myriad of symptoms should be relieved once I reach an effective does of levoxyl. What I have not been able to find is any information regarding whether the short-term memory loss and hearing loss will be reversed.

If you have any insight or experience on these matters I would be grateful.

My short term memory was among the first things to improve after I started treatment. Improvement happened within the first two weeks. That's not to say you will have the same experience in the same time frame, but it will happen, I'm sure.
I didn't have hearing problems from my hypo, but I expect yours will be better once your head clears of any excess fluid the hypo has caused.
