hair growth and thyroid? please answer

I am a 14 yr old male who was diagnosed wit Graves' Disease/Hyperthyroidism when i was 13 and i was wondering could this or my medicine Tapazol result in hair growth in unwanted places?

Well usually when your Hyper you hair falls well at least mine did. Maybe because your still growing up maybe thats the problem, not so much the medicine.

Did your hair fall out in clumps or was it thinning? I'm having a problem with thinning hair in front of my head...Could this be related to a thyroid condition? Also loosing a lot of hair in the shower. Please respond!

You said "unwanted places"... It is hard to nkow exactly what you mean by this, without being more specific, but judging by your age, I would bet that it is a symptom of changing hormones. Puberty.

Rising testosterone levels that are normal for a male your age can and will cause hair growth in places where you are previously not used to having hair. Been there, done that, 20 years ago. Please take it as a marker of you becoming a man.
