Hey all

After weeks of waiting, I finally went to see the D.O. yesterday. My mom seemed very skeptical of my symptoms, which was strange, because she seemed to have supported me in finding a doctor. We went right after I got home from school. When we got there, we filled out all the required medical forms, and turned it in. That was when we were told that since they serve as a primary care provider, I could not get an appointment unless I switched to their medical group.

So, I was turned away, and we went home. I had no idea of that policy; since when I made the appointment, everything seemed to work out fine. My mom was very angry with me for not getting the proper information, and I will not be able to see a different doctor.

My only option now is to wait until my yearly physical in October, and try to convince my GP to listen to me.

Thanks for all your kind support over the past months, and letting me vent. I ll keep in touch and let you all know anything that happens.
