Rashes

Do people who are hyper/Graves get rashes too?

I've noticed I get a rash on my upper back- a bit above where my bra sits I get rashy there, I always want it scratched!

Too, I have a rash where my butt and leg crease (obviously in the back) it's been bumpy there and now itching like crazy! I've never noticed rashes there before. I dont shave there or anything either.

Just curious. I know hypo people sometimes get hives...stuff like that.

Re: Rashes

I didn't get any rashes. Just got very, very, dry skin. Hope you are not allergic to your meds.

Re: Rashes

I hope not! But I think the one on my back has been around for a bit even before the meds. It seems like it lies dormant for a while then as soon as I get my back touched I go crazy!

Maybe it's just from all of my sweating?!

who knows...

Thanks for your reply!

I am glad there are a few people on here who are hyper! Not too many of us out there! Which I guess is a good thing.

Re: Rashes

I think I do remember getting a rash on my right side around the bra area. The FNP gave me some cream to put on it and it was gone in one day.

That is when I had the graves.
