I just wanted to thank you for the NACB information. That should be very good proof of what the ft4 should be.

She should accept it. But then they don't want to think that the patient outsmarts them.

I will sure give it a try.

You're welcome, Betty. I hope it works for you. Jinglebts and midwest pointed me in the right direction when my own doctor wouldn't listen to me. Unfortunately it did not help with that doctor, but it did give me the information I needed to know I was right and she was wrong and to push to find another doctor.

I just want to tell you that I found another site called the British Thyroid Foundation(on the questions and answers part). It says that the T4 should be in the upper range or above. It says there has been quite a bit of debate on this.

You probably already know this site. I am sure you have done much more searching than I have. LOL!!!

Thanks, Betty. I missed that one - I read through the Info Archive when I first found this board and there was a lot of information to take in. I think it might be time for a re-read
