| Update...Thyroid/Adrenal?
Just a little update and a few more questions.
I have been taking t3/t4 from a compounding pharmacy for close to two weeks.
I miraculously felt better about two days into it. I am still feeling MUCH better!!
There has been a few days where the crashing fatigue and brain fog have come back, but all of the pains seem to have gone and I seem to be losing a little weight. Mentally, I am really returning to my old self.
I am wondering about my period though. I started 5 days early and it is normally like clockwork, 29 days. It also seems to be much heavier. Does this have to do with meds?
I have also really noticed that the times that I start to feel bad again it is always induced by stress. I am not talking about real stress here. Simple things.
Simple things that before I got sick I never would have given a thought to them.
It is like I cant handle anything. Is anybody else this way? Or have I just gone mad?
I do feel like my thyroid is getting under control, but I still feel that there is some adrenal involvement. I have posted some adrenal results and the responses seem to lead to thyroid and adrenal. I have read a lot of things saying that thyroid meds wont help if there is an underlying adrenal issue?
Well, I have improvement,so I dont know if I should wait to see the end result of thyroid meds before pushing Dr on adrenals. What do you think?
Also, does anyone know how adrenals play a part in monthly cycle?
