Just to briefly let you all know...the final pathology came back for that mess I have been in and it states
(quote now) NO EVIDENCE OF RESIDUAL MALIGNANT MELANOMA.
I still have to follow what ever protocol from the hospital here in Toronto for cancer, and still a myriad of tests left, but the outcome of the recent 'chunk'o'bonnie' shows THEY GOT IT ALL
Thankyou one and all for your continued prayers and well wishes. Whew!~ I even saw my DH shoulders relax when the doctor came out with the lab report grinning from ear to ear. This was soooo sudden and swiftly dealt with once it was diagnosed.
Wish Thyroid disease could be handled as swift and as sure!
Thanks again everyone here Now back to the drudgery of TD problems (but after all the rest of the tests are done) CT scan tomorrow, then MRI then blood labs and stuff.
Meep a special thanks to you for your research yesterday.... I will still take it with me when I see the oncologists both tomorrow and on the 28th.
Congratulations! Sooo happy for you! Such good news! Sometimes it scares us when we think of what MIGHT have happened, but every day is filled with unknown close calls (when we drive or almost choke on something...). We can't let it make us feel as if we're extra vulnerable. Every day is a miraculous blessing, because there are so many "close calls" awaiting us all! Good to know you have an alert and aggressive doctor to handle some of your future close calls with you! ~ Tracy
