If your Free T4 is BELOW range, then you need more T4, regardless of TSH. IT could be indicative of a pituitary or hypothalamus problem or it could be that your pituitary and hypothalamus are so used to you haveing a low metabolism that they "think" low is normal. Regardless of TSH, if your T4 is that low, you need more T4.

I feel better than I use to but I still have symptoms such as: hair falling out, constipation, skipping heart beats,(not as bad),tire easily and depression. I also get headaches aaarg.
awwww lady xxxx l think the endo started me on the thyroxine cos my ft4 was very low but then again he dont know why lm havign weird blood test results come back at all! LOL lm asking for them all on 5th october by **** l am good luck hun xx
