Hi all,

After a hypo crash over the last couple of weeks, I decided to increase my dose by 1/2 grain of Armour. Now I feel like death and suspect I could be going hyper. I've got rapid heart, palps, no appetite, can't sleep and I feel nauseous. This is the first time it's happened so I guess I have just reached my upper meds level.

I dropped my dose back down to 200 thyroxine and 1 1/2 Armour this morning but I still feel awful and very scared.

I can't get in touch with my doctor until Monday. What should I do???

Do you have a hospital nearby you could go to? I know how it feels to be hyper. I am not sure if they would do anything for you at the hospital.

Thanks Lady,

I don't feel bad enough for hospital and I'm not sure either what they could do for me.
Should I cut my meds and if so, which one. I cut my Armour down by half this morning as I was feeling hyper yesterday but it doesn't seem to have done much to help.

Thyroxine or Armour?
